Tap the mic on the Add Reminder screen and speak naturally, or type your task and search for a location. Takes about 10 seconds.
Why does Aviso need "Always" location access?+
To alert you when you arrive at a place, Aviso monitors your location in the background. Without this, alerts only work when the app is open. Your location is never uploaded or shared.
Does it work without internet?+
Yes — saved reminders work offline. Adding new reminders needs internet to search for locations.
What is the 1-mile warning?+
Aviso can alert you up to 1 mile before you reach your destination — giving you time to prepare before you arrive.
Can I use my voice to set reminders?+
Yes. Tap the mic, say your task and location in one sentence, and Aviso fills everything in. Works with Siri Shortcuts too.
Is there a subscription?+
No — never. Aviso Pro is a one-time purchase everywhere: $4.99 in the iOS app, $9.99 on the web. Pay once, own it forever. No recurring charges. No monthly fees. Ever.
What happens to my data?+
Everything stays on your device. No account, no server, no data sold. Private by design.
My alert didn't fire when I arrived. What should I check?+
Three things fix nearly every missed alert: (1) Location permission is set to "Always" in iOS Settings → Aviso → Location, (2) Notifications are enabled for Aviso, and (3) Background App Refresh is on. Geofence alerts are delivered by iOS itself, so the app does not need to be open.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new phone?+
Open Aviso, go to Settings → Restore Purchases, and sign in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with. Non-consumable purchases transfer to all your devices automatically.
I subscribed before Aviso moved to one-time pricing. Do I keep Pro?+
Yes. Active legacy subscribers keep every Pro feature for as long as their subscription remains active. You can also cancel and buy the $4.99 one-time unlock instead — it never expires.
How do I delete my data?+
Delete the app. That's genuinely it — all data lives on your device, so removing Aviso removes everything. There is no account or server copy to clean up.
